How does the Encore!!! approach differ from language recordings?

Listening to audio recordings is an excellent way to develop language skills. But besides being able to rewind or fast-forward, a fixed audio recording is limited. 

Encore!!! offers the ability to customize playlists. You can choose:

-how many times an entry is repeated, 

-the length of the pause between repetitions, 

-the speed of the vocal presentation,

-to hear the breakdown vocabulary related to sentences,

-to switch between the “Native” and “Foreign” languages,

-to rearrange the order of entries in a playlist,

-to remove entries from a playlist, and

-to add entries. 

These choices offer a “customized immersion experience” not possible with a standard audio player.
